<p>Female Piara Waters would like to welcome a new female doctor, Dr Priya Mohansundar. She completed her initial medical training in India and has working experience in England. She worked in various hospitals in Perth before training as a General Practitioner. She is interested in all aspects of family medicine including chronic disease management, women health, skin cancer checks and mental health. She strives to provide holistic health care to all her patients. She promotes preventative medicine and involves patient in their health care management.</p>
<p>General Medical Practitioner, Male Speaks English, Croatian, Serbian, and Bosnian Dr Zelko Pecotich completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland in 1991. Having worked as a general practitioner for the last 25 years, Dr Pecotich is passionate about holistic patient care. Areas of special interest include effective treatment of back pain with stretching and exercise, and treatment of mental health problems with dietary and lifestyle changes, as well as management of complex medical problems in general.</p>
General Medical Practitioner, Male, MBBS, FRACGP Speaks Burmese, and English Dr Latt is an experienced General Practitioner with many years of clinical experience. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice. He has extensive experience in chronic disease management, children's health, women's health including shared antenatal care and certified to insert and remove the implanon. His expertise also extends to workers compensation claim, driving medical assessment, geriatric and palliative medicine, having worked for many years in those areas. He was, until recently, working in a rural area for a few years, where he managed to treat many diverse and challenging clinical situations. He also worked in public hospital Emergency Department over the years. Dr Latt was awarded John Da Silva Award in 2014 and Mooditj Djind Award in 2016 for his outstanding achievements and contributions to rural mental health and general practice. He has also been involved in medical education, teaching 3rd and final year medical students from University of Western Australia. Outside of work, he likes to spend time with his family and friends. His other interests include travelling, reading and listening to music. Dr Latt is available for consultation at Piara Waters Medical on Saturdays from 9 to 3 pm.
